The 30th Annual Conference and Agri-Expo of the California Association of Pest Control Advisers (CAPCA) are slated for Oct. 24-26 in Anaheim at the Disneyland Hotel.
This year's theme is “CAPCA, 30 Years — Celebrate!” More than 1,000 licensed Pest Control Adviser's (PCAs) will be-attending this year's conference. The CAPCA Conference features Monday and Tuesday morning general sessions filled with professional speakers who will discuss a wide array of topics affecting the pest management industry.
CAPCA's annual conference is known for its extensive breakout sessions that are designed to meet the needs of the pest control advisers in their specific areas. These breakout categories, which will be held Monday afternoon, include field and row Crop, professional markets, tree and vine and turf and ornamental breakout sessions.
Traditional conference events include about 90 professional Agri-Expo tradeshow exhibitors, a research poster session display and a career opportunity room.
In addition, CDPR Pest Control Adviser and Applicator, surrounding state accreditation, Certified Crop Advisor (CCA), Golf Course Superintendents Association of America, International Society of Arborists and other continuing education credits will be available at the conference.
About 1,000 licensed pest control advisers are expected to participate in this year's conference. CAPCA has more than 3,400 members and 16 chapters statewide, consisting of licensed pest control advisers.
