Panel reviews regulation of new RNA technology

RNA technology could become the next powerful weapon against agricultural pests by disabling their genes.

EPA convened a Federal Insecticide, Fungicide & Rodenticide Act (FIFRA) Science Advisory Panel (SAP) to review the adequacies of the agency’s current regulatory practices for pesticides as they relate to a new genetic technology – RNA interference (RNAi).
