Arizona grape-wine industries spur growth, respect

Arizona wine grape growers like the state’s geographical advantages for grape production, along with affordable land and available water. Last year, about 90 percent of the grapes in Arizona wines were Arizona grown. Arizona wineries produced about 365,000 gallons of wine in 2013.

Arizona’s youthful grape and wine industries are gaining quick favor due to geographical advantages including affordable land and available water. Walls and desk tops adorned with awards point to an industry where growers and winemakers are finding success – one grape and bottle at a time.
