In 2013, a record 433 million acres of biotech crops were grown globally, at an annual growth rate of 3 percent, making biotech crops the fastest adopted crop technology in recent history.

According to the latest serial report released on Feb. 15 by the International Service for the Acquisition of Agri-Biotech Applications, the global planting of biotech crops continues to grow annually.
