The California Department of Pesticide Regulation (DPR) is now accepting for nominees for its 2014 Integrated Pest Management (IPM) Innovator Awards.
DPR’s IPM Innovator awards are designed to recognize operations employing pest management systems based on scientific principles of IPM.
Nominations are due July 1 and can be submitted using DPR’s online nomination form.
Nominees for the IPM Innovator award are considered in eight categories: innovation; value; effectiveness; research support; organizational education; outreach; sustainability; and leadership.
Past award winners include the California Walnut Board’s Production Research Advisory Council (2013) for walnut IPMN research, and Sunwest Fruit Company (2011) recognized for its IPM program in its stone fruit and citrus production.
