Tiger-Sul's new planting tool for soil nutrient needs

Tiger-Sul Products, a sulphur fertilizer manufacturer, has launched a new return on investment (ROI) calculator feature on its mobile Agronomic Nutrient Calculator app and website.

The company says the tool will help farmers make better-informed business decisions based on return-on-investment calculations for crop nutrient programs. The new ROI feature eliminates guesswork and illustrates how growers can increase yields and profits through optimal TIGER product applications.

The user-friendly interface and results dashboard on the Tiger website and mobile app deliver an easy and rich user experience. In addition to the ROI feature, the Nutrient Calculator mobile app helps growers determine amounts of vital crop nutrients needed – including TIGER fertilizers and micronutrients – to optimize yields.

The app covers key crops including corn, canola, and soybeans. The ROI feature also offers years of data on trials and R&D activities conducted by Tiger-Sul in easy-to-understand, concise fact sheets.

The company says its Tiger-Sul Nutrient Calculator app was rated a top 10 agriculture app by CropLife Magazine.

Key features of the Nutrient Calculator include:

Tiger Calculator - farmers enter their crop and desired yield. The app calculates the amounts of fertilizer and micronutrients needed based on Tiger-Sul’s fertilizer and micronutrient products.

Tiger ROI - farmers select their crop, expected selling crop price, and the price of Tiger products. The App calculates ROI based on the projected yield results through the application of Tiger-Sul products.

Nutrient Removal Calculator - this advanced calculator determines the amount of nutrients removed by crop. It shows the nutrient and amount that will be removed from the soil and covers all macro, secondary, and micronutrients.

Nutrient Deficiency Image Library - A collection of images by crop divided into three categories; primary, secondary, and micro. This allows the producer to select the image that most closely matches their crop. The image contains information about any nutrient deficiency and the appropriate fertilizer and micronutrient application.
