Survey: Consumer confidence in food supply still high

"Sustainability" is an important buzzword and Americans seem mixed on its meaning.    

Most Americans have an overall favorable opinion of their food supply and do not generally support additional labeling of food produced through biotechnology, according to a survey commissioned by the International Food Information Council Foundation (IFIC).

The survey was conducted this spring with a margin of error plus or minus 3 percent.
