Northern SJV Almond Day Jan. 25

The annual North San Joaquin Valley Almond Day is scheduled for Jan. 25 in the Stanislaus County Agricultural Center, Modesto.

Times from 8:30 a.m. until noon and 1.5 hours of continuing education credit will be available.,

Registration begins at 8 a.m. following by the program at 8:30. The program is:

--Techniques to Improve Water Penetration in Your Orchard; Terry Prichard, UCCE Water and Irrigation Management Specialist

--Micronutrient Fertility in Almond; Patrick Brown, Professor of Pomology Nutrition, UC Davis
