Total citrus losses in California’s December freeze could top $500 million when all figures are tallied in the coming months.

California Citrus Mutual (CCM) is saying that losses from the December freeze totaled $441 in lost fruit and another $49 million in frost protection efforts. The most significant losses were seen in Mandarins.
