Fraction of food could reduce world hunger

Someone has estimated there are nearly 67 billion pounds of food sitting in landfills as a result of the waste that occurs with the world’s food supplies. Kai Robertson believes that even if only a fraction of the food we waste could be saved, it would go a long ways toward reducing world hunger. Robertson spoke during the Ag Issues Forum sponsored by Bayer CropScience at this year’s Commodity Classic in Nashville, Tenn.
