Arizona Veg IPM Update: Insect loss and insecticide use, powdery mildew, UA herbarium

The University of Arizona Integrated Pest Management team annually surveys pest control advisers and growers through interactive workshops to document insect pest activity and pesticide usage in Arizona lettuce. It is powdery mildew season in the Desert Southwest. The UA herbarium (plant museum) has more than 420,000 plant specimens and over 40,000 mycological specimens.
