It features 178 alfalfa varieties from 22 marketers, verified with the Association of Official Seed Certifying Agencies and the National Alfalfa Variety Review Board.
It’s a valuable tool for hay and dairy producers, Extension specialists, agri-business personnel, and anyone involved in alfalfa production.
The NAFA “one-of-a-kind” publication provides an extensive listing of alfalfa varieties and corresponding ratings for fall dormancy, winter survival, bacterial wilt, aphanomyces, leafhopper, and a host of other pests.
It also covers grazing tolerance, salt tolerance, and standability, providing information to make informed decisions about the alfalfa varieties which can perform best in your area.
All the alfalfa varieties are available for purchase in the U.S. next year.
