California cotton leader Curti dies at 51

Well-known California cotton industry leader, Tulare County grower Jeff Curti, died July 20. Funeral services were held July 23 in Tulare.

Curti, 51, was a director of Calcot. He also was a director of the California Cotton Growers Association and served on the board of the Mid-Valley Cotton Gin board. He was a 1975 graduate of Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo.

Born in Tulare, Calif., the Curti family has been long time Tulare County farmers and dairymen.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda; two daughters, Jacqueline and Christina Curti, both of Tulare; his mother, Mabel Curti of Tulare; a brother, Ken, of Visalia and a sister Karen Pedroncelli of Visalia.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Greg and his father Italo.
