A Greener World (AGW), the nonprofit certifier and home of the globe's most highly regarded farm animal welfare certification, is seeking certification bodies to support its growing reach. Beginning in South Africa and the United Kingdom as well as other countries in Africa, Europe, Asia and South America, A Greener World is preparing to service the overwhelming interest from consumers, retailers and food producers seeking credible animal welfare certification that meets consumer expectation.
As consumer demand for verified sustainability has increased, third-party certification has gained traction as an effective strategy for companies seeking to distinguish themselves while meeting customers' expectations of sustainability and transparency. A Greener World's flagship certification, Certified Animal Welfare Approved by AGW, has emerged as a leading global label for farm animal welfare in Compassion in World Farming's recent certification comparisons, and has been acknowledged by Consumer Reports as the only "highly meaningful" label for farm animal welfare, outdoor access and sustainability.
A Greener World is accredited to ISO Guide 17065, demonstrating excellence in auditing and certification, and seeks partnerships with other certification bodies to uphold the same standards. AGW is actively inviting letters of interest from competent certification bodies across the globe to carry out auditing and compliance services for its suite of market-leading labels, including Certified Animal Welfare Approved by AGW, Certified Grassfed by AGW and Certified Non-GMO by AGW. A Greener World is an Equal Opportunity Employer and expects partners to uphold the same values to ensure fair and equitable treatment of staff, farmers and stakeholders, while respecting diverse cultures and communities across the globe.
