Unprotected silage can lead to feed losses, increased VOCs

As air quality issues heat up in California and in the rest of the country, environmentalists are increasingly pointing their fingers at agriculture. Agriculture contributes to the problem, but there are steps farmers can take to reduce those — and increase the feed nutrients available to livestock. UC Davis’ Frank Mitloehner discussed the problem during an educational seminar at World Ag Expo.
