Syngenta has named Jill Wheeler as the head of sustainable productivity in North America.
Wheeler will be responsible for ensuring The Good Growth Plan from Syngenta is embedded into the company’s North American business and stakeholder engagement plans. She will be based in Minnetonka, Minn.
The Good Growth Plan comprises six company commitments to address the global food security challenge through boosting resource efficiency, rejuvenating ecosystems, and strengthening rural communities.
Previously, Wheeler has managed marketing and communications campaigns for a range of leading agricultural and animal health companies.
She also has experience in crop protection, seed traits, and seed care. Her work launching Rave herbicide at Syngenta earned an EFFIE Award, the nation’s highest honor in marketing effectiveness.
Most recently, Wheeler was product lead for commercial traits in the corn product management group.
