World Ag Expo official magazine hits growers' mailboxes

The 182-page World Ag Expo official magazine highlights the full array of events, seminars and attractions scheduled for World Ag Expo,, the world’s largest annual agricultural exhibition Feb. 10-12 at the International Agri-Center at Tulare, Calif.

More than 1,500 exhibitors will be displaying agricultural equipment, products and services to an estimated 100,000 agriculturalists who expected to attend the event. IAC General Manager Jerry Sinift says, “The high quality publication is now being distributed to 75,000 growers, agribusiness representatives and others in agriculture-related fields”.

The magazine contains a complete listing of exhibitors at the expo and their locations, all scheduled seminars and events, a checklist of important information that attendees need to know before arriving at the Expo and information about advance on-line registration, which was introduced with great success in 2008. It also contains an 8-page gatefold map of the show grounds and numerous feature articles and photos about various events at the expo.

“We are extremely pleased with the excellent publication produced by the Western Farm Press editorial and production staff, working closely with the World Ag Expo staff,” says Sinift.

Greg Frey, Penton Media vice president and Farm Press publisher, says the company’s publishing of the 2009 World Ag Expo magazine, as well as the Show Guide to be handed out at the expo, is a culmination of the desire of the World Ag Expo staff to improve the quality of these two key publications and to further increase awareness of the show with the broader publicity available through the Farm Press publications, Web sites and e-newsletters.

Frey says, “We’re pleased that Penton Media and Farm Press can be an integral part of the largest annual farm equipment and agriculture technology expo in the world by making available to them our outstanding editorial, production, and state-of-the-art printing capabilities that offer top-notch color reproduction.”

Extra copies of the official magazine can be picked up at the International Agri-Center in Tulare Calif. Monday – Friday between 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Additional copies will also be available on the expo show grounds during World Ag Expo.

Western Farm Press and BEEF Magazine are also official publications of World Ag Expo. Both magazines are published by Penton Media.
