World Ag Expo seeks new seminars

In preparation for the 2011 Expo, World Ag Expo staff and volunteers are actively searching for a new lineup of agriculture seminars for the expo in February. Categories include general agriculture, international trade, irrigation, beef, hay and forage, education and three days of seminars for the dairy industry.

For the 2010 expo, the seminar center was relocated and expanded to an over 1,200-square-foot section of the dairy expansion area in the southeast section of the grounds. Nearly 60 seminars were hosted by various groups and publications during the three-day expo.

“Seminars at World Ag Expo have always been popular with our attendees. Now it’s time for us to search for our 2011 seminars,” said Lee Coito, 2011 World Ag Expo chairman. “With our expanded seminars center, we can offer a wider variety of seminars to our diverse group of attendees.”

All seminars are selected by a committee of World Ag Expo volunteers and staff. The nomination deadline is Aug. 1, 2010. Interested companies can submit nominations to World Ag Expo’s seminar committee by downloading and completing the nomination form at

World Ag Expo 2011 “Tools for Agri-Business” will take place Feb. 8–10 at the International Agri-Center show grounds in Tulare, Calif.
