Mayor Rudy Giuliani to visit World Ag Expo’s 40th anniversary

Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani will deliver remarks at the opening ceremonies of the World Ag Expo tomorrow at 8:30 a.m.

Mayor Giuliani will be joined by other dignitaries, including California Secretary of Food & Agriculture, A.G. Kawamura and international delegates from across the globe to kick-off the largest agricultural exposition in the world. During the ceremony, guests will join in recognizing show leadership, hear from state and federal representatives and officials, and witness a jet fly-over from the Lemoore Naval Air Station.

The World Ag Expo attracts more than 1,600 exhibitors and 100,000 attendees from 66 different countries; all made possible by the efforts of 1,200 volunteers. This year marks the 40th anniversary of World Ag Expo and a celebration of 40 years of innovative agriculture Feb. 13-15, 2007. Visit for current information on WAE and event details
