Program teaches parents

two University of California Cooperative Extension advisors have developed a program that gives parents new ways enrich their children's early years. The seven-lesson program, Off to a Good Start, begins by building parents' confidence in their own ability to teach.”

Off to a Good Start is being presented by UC Cooperative Extension in selected counties, and the complete curriculum — including outlines, preparations, recommended books, mini lectures, visual aids, activities and handouts — may be purchased by agencies, schools, churches and other organizations for presentation to parents.
