Stick with first premise made

You should have stayed with one of your first comments that there needs to be thoughtful scientific debates on the subject. Picking an idiot to have a debate with does not meet that criteria.

I appreciate the science of biotechnology as we do grow GMOs, but I am never so naive to think there never, ever will be some side effect - whether that side effect is negligible or large is the debate scientists should have and media should discuss.

DNA is the information base of life. Changing that base, whether it naturally occurs or occurs through artificial manipulation, changes that base and the life path becomes different. Again, maybe insignificant, but lets not claim our wisdom today.
