Three hours CE offered at show's CAPCA seminar

This year's continuing education seminar for licensed Pest Control Advisors at the Salinas Valley Farm Show will feature four presentations.

Tony Marci, chairman of the seminar sponsored by the Monterey Bay CAPCA chapter, said there will four presentations for which he has applied for three hours of continuing education credit.

The program begins at 1 p.m. and is:

1-1:45 p.m. — Insect Pest Update for the Salinas Valley; Bill Chaney, entomology farm advisor, UC Cooperative Extension, Monterey County.

1:45-2:30 p.m. — Weed Control in Artichokes; Richard Smith, farm advisor, UC Cooperative Extension, Monterey County.

2:30-3:15 p.m. — Laws and Regulations; Monterey County Agricultural Commissioners Office.

3:15-4 p.m. — Topic Pending.
