The Crop Vitality division of Tessenderlo Kerley Inc. (TKI) has opened a research, development, and innovation farm in Dinuba, Calif. to further the company’s commitment to developing innovative crop nutrients to help growers meet the needs of modern crop production in a reliable and sustainable manner.
The 107-acre farm allows the Crop Vitality agronomist team to replicate many farming conditions and practices around the world.
The farm houses research laboratories, greenhouses, and a facility to study soil types, plus administrative offices and meeting rooms.
The company says the farm represents a commitment to the future of agriculture through pioneering research, development, and innovation in plant nutrition.
Crop Vitality agronomists and researchers will focus on sustainable plant nutrients for high yielding crops, and gathering information to answer questions facing agricultural production.
The company will also use the facility as a center for farm demonstrations and educational activities.
The facility will provide opportunities to collaborate with key stakeholders in the agriculture value chain in solving complex challenges which impact global food production.
