United Ag League donates $10,000 to Tsunami Fund

On behalf of United Agribusiness League, President and CEO William C. Goodrich has announced the donation of $10,000 to the California Agriculture Tsunami Relief Fund.

“The agriculture industry is committed to providing high quality, safe food to the world. Contributing to the relief fund is our way to ensure tsunami victims have food, water, and shelter to help rebuild their lives,” says Goodrich.

The California Agriculture Tsunami Relief Fund affords California farmers and ranchers, and all agribusiness, the opportunity to contribute to an organization where 90 percent of the funds donated go to relief operations. The organization is Friends of the World Food Program. For more information, go to www.friendsofwfp.org and look for the link to the California Agriculture Tsunami Relief Fund.

Founded in 1980, United Agribusiness League (UAL) is the united voice for the agricultural industry.
