PH-D fungicide now labeled for chemigation in carrots

Arysta LifeScience North America recently announced a label addition for PH-D Fungicide – chemigation on carrots in California.

PH-D is a broad-spectrum fungicide that controls a wide range of fungi, including alternaria, early blight, botrytis, and powdery mildew.

The company says California growers will welcome the use of PH-D through chemigation for carrots.

“With research and trials to back up the science, PH-D continues to show positive results as a broad-spectrum fungicide and a strong resistance management tool,” said Layne Wade, senior technical service manager with Arysta LifeScience.

Carrots are among a growing number of food crops on the PH-D label, including almonds, cucurbit vegetables, fruiting vegetables, grapes, pistachios, pome fruits, potatoes, and strawberries.
